Role of Connexions Personal Advisors

Work with young people providing careers information, advice and guidance and programmes of support that will help to access suitable opportunities in Education, Training and Employment (ETE).  This may involve advocacy, support in disclosure of convictions, production of a CV, job search and benefit support.

Where appropriate and in liaison with the case holder, we also visit young people in custody and advise them about the provision of ETE available to them upon their release.

We are also available to advise YOS staff about a range of issues relating to ETE.
